Magic That Is
More Than Tricks

The world of magic is full of fascinating concepts, oddities, and phenomena to be explored. When I’m not working with outside collaborators, I design unexpected magical experiences.

Check out  my portfolio of work below. And keep an eye out for upcoming show dates or installation schedules!

The Mind Of A Magician

A year-long set of monthly shows where each month brings entirely new magic to the world!

The Mind Of A Magician takes place once a month in Somerville, MA (Beginning September 2019 until August 2020). Each show will be created from scratch with new magic from idea notebooks slowly filled over the last several decades. Check out some photos of the inaugural show (a magical Game Night!) and join us in the future by learning more about upcoming productions HERE.

A Public Display of Deception:

A look into the secret techniques of magicians.

This unique exhibition peeks behind the curtain at the tricks, lies, and techniques that magicians use to create their illusions. Interactive works allow you to get into the mind of a magician and – if you’re particularly attentive – uncover some of the most closely guarded secrets in the art of magic.

MINDLESS

Is mind reading possible? Through sleight of hand, storytelling and deception, magician and audience alike explore how easily we can be influenced and how enjoyable it can be!

This show about psychological manipulation originally debuted in 2015, and has since been staged in four cities and two states; including being a part of the 2018 IndyFringe festival.

"His mastery of instantaneous memorization, subtle manipulations and astute reading of micro expressions makes his abilities seem overwhelmingly supernatural. Plus, his slick showmanship and charisma keeps the audience’s rapt attention."

The Spirits Speak

Experience the mystery of Victorian spiritualism revealed by local magician Evan Northrup. Witness the popular gilded-age spectacle where the veil is lifted between the living and the dead.

This event is presented as part of the Essex Heritage Field Institute in partnership with the National Park Service.
